How to:

Tutorials on use of digital technologies. Another good source of tutorials is to just Google your question. If you click the video search option there is often a video tutorial as well. Just make sure it is a recent video or tutorial and for your operating system. Windows 7 does some things differently to Windows 8 for example. The main focus is on Windows-based applications and i-pads but some Mac tutorials are also included.

Tutorials

  • Snipping Tool - to takes a screenshot of all or part of your screen. Instructions work for Windows 7 and up
  • Paint - Pictures can be created in Paint then pasted into a document or presentation. You can either copy and paste or save the image (preferably as a jpeg).

What is it?

Dropbox can be used to easily transfer files via a wireless connection form one device to another. it is available on most platforms eg PC, Mac, Android etc. You create an account then sign in on your devices. Files added on one device will be visible on all your devices once they transfer (automatically) via wifi. You can share folders with others too.
